The 2024 Organic Commodities Production Guide is now available online through NC State Extension Publications. This updated production guide covers a wide range of topics related to organic commodity crop production in North Carolina including soil health topics, organic marketing, and organic certification. Crop specific chapters include in-depth information on corn, wheat and small grains, soybean, flue-cured tobacco, peanut, and sweetpotato; including organic management for common disease issues and pest pressures for these crops.

This guide strives to serve as a regionally relevant resource for producers and technical service providers working with organic commodity crops in North Carolina and the Southeast.
